Service Technician

Dependable Petroleum Service, a growing gas station equipment installation and repair company is seeking experienced full-time candidates with a wide variety of skills and abilities to work through difficult problems.

We are looking for technicians that are able to do more than just fix broken products. Our technicians are on the front lines talking with business owners at the same time they are problem-solving/troubleshooting and completing the repairs.  The Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs of petroleum equipment and all operating systems.

  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of service station equipment and repair procedures

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees

  • Effective time manager with good organizational skills

  • Must effectively fulfill his/her duties in on call rotation and be able to work each day until jobs are completed

  • Maintain company vehicle /necessary truck inventory levels

  • Responsible for proper equipment installation and start up

  • Possess troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic areas

  • Site survey for new installations

  • Provide adequate customer training

  • Use of computers – basic skills

  • Properly complete paperwork, time sheets and turn in core inventory on a daily basis

  • Adhere to company dress code

  • Comply to all safety requirements and standards

  • Ability to work outdoors year round

  • Participate in On- Call Rotations

  • Valid driver’s license is required

New Employees are eligible for an employee sign on bonus of $1000. $500 is paid after the successful completion of 90 days and $500 after the successful completion of 6 months.
